Day 1 Delhi
Arrival in Delhi and transferred to hotel.
Day 2 Delhi
Full day city sight seen visit Red Fort, Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in , Raj Ghat- the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi and enjoy a walking tour in Chandni Chowk- the silver street of Delhi bustling with activity. In the afternoon visit Qutab Minar, the tallest stone tower, Humayun’s Tomb built in the Indo Persian style and India Gate – A War Memorial Arch. Also drive past the President’s house, Parliament house, Government secretariat buildings and Connaught place – the heart of New Delhi and a busy shopping center.
Day 3 Agra
Drive 220kms to Agra which is a very interesting 3 hours drive passing through beautiful countryside and villages. En route stop at Sikandar, Akbar’s mausoleum made of red sandstone, just 8 kms before Agra. Later continue drive and arrive in Agra.
Day 4 Agra
Visit the red sandstone Agra Fort, three successive Mughal emperors create this massive structure which contains Hindu and Muslim architecture. Then proceed for the famous white marble Taj Mahal, which was built in the middle of the 17th century by the Moghul emperor Shah Jehan for his wife Mumtaz. Visit the Taj Mahal surely the greatest monument to love and one of the wonders of the modern world.
Day 5 Jaipur
Drive to Jaipur via Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary and the ancient Moghul capital of Fatehpur Sikri. The bird sanctuary at Bharatpur is supposed to be inundated with more than 350 different species of resident and migratory birds. Enjoy a cycle rickshaw ride for an hour to spot some birds before driving another 18 kames to the abandoned Moghul capital, Fatehpur Sirki. This 16th century capital of Moghul emperor Akbar is a complex of forts, palaces and mosques built in sandstone.
Day 6 Jaipur
Jaipur the city of Maharaja. Visit the Amber Fort the ancient capital of the Rajesthan until 1728. Visit the Temple of Kali, the Hall of Victory or Jai Mahal and Jagmandir. You can have the unique experience of elephant back ride. Spend time in crowded lanes and by lanes of pink city, haggling and souvenir-hunting. In the afternoon visit the the Palace of Winds and the City Palace Museum. The museum has an interesting textile section, which contains dresses and costumes of the former Maharajas and Maharanis of Jaipur.
Day 7 Delhi
Back to Delhi (5 hours). Arrive Delhi in the afternoon. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 8 Delhi
Day of depature back home or extend your tour to Goa or Kerala.
